I'm an elementary librarian in need of justifying the amount of books I reads aimed at eleven year-olds by organizing them on a nifty website.
Always hated the shows where everything is a dream. Also I prefer my metaphors to be less heavy-handed. On the other hand great writing and plenty to discuss. Can't imagine who the audience is.
Very humorous. Timberlake's descriptions are vivid and enjoyable and Rex's illustration are hilarious. It is, however, way too wordy to make a solid picture book. Those great descriptions needed to be pared in half or to a third.
Fun protagonist and side characters. A bit sit-commy at times and often the kids did not sound like seven-year-olds.
